ACOM develops and produces HF power equipment and short-wave systems for network radio communications. The product portfolio includes power amplifiers, antenna tuners and switches, Ethernet remote control devices, automatic XCVR commutators, and custom-made products.
ACOM products are designed for the amateur (HAM radio), commercial, and government markets. Thanks to its extensive expertise in developing and manufacturing high-end HF power equipment, ACOM is in an excellent market-share position.
ACOM is a European hi-tech engineering and production company located in Sofia, Bulgaria. ACOM is a part of a Corporate Group of three integrated companies. The other two group companies are MILARA and VOLACOM.
ACOM has been developing different electronic and mechanical products since 1988. In 1998, the company introduced the automatic ACOM 2000A - a new generation of HF amplifier and our first product in our amplifiers range. During the years, ACOM introduced many other amplifier models as well as other products, e.g.:
ACOM 1000, 1006, 1010, 1011, 1500, and 2100 (tube-based models), and ACOM 500S, 600S, 700S, 1200S, and 2020S (solid state amplifiers). ACOM 03AT, 04AT, 06AT and 20AT (antenna tuner).
Our power amplifiers now have a proven track record for performance, reliability, and craftsmanship and have become the preferred equipment for DXpeditions, DXing, and contests.
ACOM is a fully family-owned and ‑managed company. The company therefore operates independently of third-party economic and private interests. Its profits are invested in alignment with the company's politics and plowed back into the company itself. This family type of ownership ensures the company's sustainability and the jobs of its employees. As a result, our employees enjoy a sense of working for their own company.
Radio is our mission, and quality is our passion. Research and development are part of our DNA, with many of our employees devoted to the continual development of advanced technologies. A double-digit percentage of our revenues is invested in R&D throughout the Corporate Group.
Around 100 employees work to advance our dealers within their markets. ACOM is an international company with a global dealer network with 80+ dealerships and customers in more than 110 countries.
